A D&G favorite, Gandy won a model competition in 2001 and has been a fixture ever since. Forbes listed the veteran as the second-highest earner among male models as of October 2013. His muscular frame is partly responsible for designers going for a more masculine aestheitic, and thus he already has tons of industry awards, editorial gigs, and magazine covers under his belt. He writes about the industry for esteemed publications like GQ and Vogue, and even has a coffee table book about his work with D&G published. He’s number two on Forbes’ list of top earners among male models in 2013.
- Clement Chabernaud
Instantly recognizable for his chiseled features, Chabernaud was an exclusive with Jil Sander for four straight seasons when he started in 2007 and was also booked by Roberto Cavalli, Prada, Gianfranco Ferre, and Balmain. The French model started out in the industry at the ripe young age of 16 and sits at the second overall spot in Models.com’s top 50 famous male models ranking.

If there’s a top male models list, count on Mr. Teixeira to be on it. The Brazilian talent of Wilhelmina Models has done catwalks for some of the biggest and brightest brands, such as Emporio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana, among many others. Nessman is also among the top earners in the industry, with Forbes ranking him at number 3 in the publication’s 2013 list of male models. The 24-year-old from Courtenay, British Columbia has starred in a wide range of campaigns for top brands like Versace, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, YSL, and GAP, among others. He has also walked the runway for the likes of Emporio Armani, Cavalli, Michael Kors, and Salvatore Ferragamo. His most recognizable work is perhaps as the face of Giorgio Armani.

He sits at number four on the Forbes list and appeared in covers for both American GQ and Details magazine, the latter of which was the one in 2011 where he was joined by two top male models, Sean O’Pry and Noah Mills. He encountered immediate success in print work and was the face of D&G for several seasons starting in 2011; and he continues to do well!
