Headshots Tips – Examples of good headshots. Every successful model in the world has the following. They may have many, or they may have one that they have used for years and years. One thing remains the same, that at some point in every models journey, the one thing every model must have is a…….. Killer head shot! and the sooner you do, the sooner you will get to work.
It doesn’t have to be flashy (though if you can get the right photo, this can set you apart from every body else you are competing for jobs with). This will become essential as you compete for more and more prestigious jobs. Two of the first good headshots I got taken were by a phenomenal photographer in Baltimore named Roy Cox. You can check out some of his work at Roy Cox Photography. Roy helped me get a couple of good headshots that gave me a substantial edge in competing with other inexperienced models who were all working to get the same modeling jobs as I was.
As you can see, these aren’t anything flashy, but just exactly what I needed. They look great and show versatility as one is smiling and one straight on showing confidence.
So the sooner you get your good headshots, the sooner you can create a great looking portfolio and get to work as a Model!
