How do models care for and have clear skin?

Do all models have clear skin? stacie snyder makeup

How can it be that all models have perfect skin?  Not only are they tall and slender, with great bodies and perfect smiles, but they also get to have perfect skin as well?  It’s just not fair!  Well here is something that might brighten up your day, models don’t have perfect skin.  Behind every photo shoot is a great makeup artist.  But, there are a few things that models typically do to maintain clear and healthy looking skin.

Most models take good care of their skin.  They wash their face often, use peels and cleansers, eat right, and workout.  All these things can lead to clearer, healthier skin.  Putting bad foods into your body can irritate your skin.  While, exercising can help clear out pores (just make sure to wash up shortly after exercising as it can also have the opposite effect).  Wash your face in the morning and at night, and keep your hands away from your face.  Your hands are constantly touching filthy things: doorknobs, steering wheels, bathrooms etc.  If you are constantly touching your face, you are transferring these germs to your face.  So STOP TOUCHING YOUR FACE!

Now don’t get me wrong, in order to be a serious, successful model, one will need to have predominately clear skin.  But say there is a female out there who happens to have less than perfect skin, but has everything else needed to make it as a model.  99% of photo shoots and modeling jobs will have a hair stylist and make up artist on set.  So her less than perfect skin is now hardly noticeable.  However, make up artists are not miracle workers.  They prefer to work with a neat canvas, meaning a healthy, clean face.

Genetics are also involved and puberty can have a lot to do with it as well.  So the best advice I can offer is to cleanse your face often (but be careful not to dry it out), eat right, exercise, and refrain from touching your face.  If you do these things, you may just see a difference in your complexion.  Unless you are thirteen and midway through puberty.  Then your face is doomed.  Take good care of your skin and your confidence will stay on the rise.
